Another death from COVID-19 has been registered in Derry and Strabane bringing the toll of the disease since the pandemic began to 122.
The man, aged over 80, died in a residential care home setting on Sunday.
His death was notified by the Department of Health this afternoon.
Twenty-eight people have now died with the illness in 2021. A hundred and one people have died locally since the onset of the second wave in September.
