Does the North need a special relationship with the E.U.?

Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness, has called on all political leaders in Ireland to establish a special relationship between the North of Ireland and the European Union.

Mr. McGuinness’ comments after several political leaders and economic experts suggested Brexit would impact negatively upon Ireland’s economy.

The North, like Scotland and Gibraltar, voted to remain part of the E.U. on June 23.
