Motorists urged to take ‘extreme caution’ following flooding
Police are reminding motorists to take extreme caution when travelling on the roads in the Derry and Strabane areas.
“There are a number of roads flooded and impassable. Please follow road signs, slow down and think about whether or not your journey is essential.”
On Saturday night, Donegal County Council also warned that heavy rain in East Inishowen resulted in damage to roads and bridges in the area.
