Oil spill on main Derry artery
An oil spill on one of the main arteries connecting Derry and the east sparked some disruption on Sunday afternoon.
Shortly before 1 p.m. police advised drivers of an oil spill on the Clooney Road.
Both country bound lanes on the dual carriageway between the Broadbridge roundabout and the City of Derry Airport roundabout were closed.
Motorists were diverted through Eglinton village.
