The Bishop of Derry, Dónal McKeown, has suspended Mass in Donegal but not in Derry and Tyrone in response to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

He explained that Masses in the North will be suspended after St. Patrick's Day but not before then.

However, due to the stringent measures introduced by the Irish Government on Thursday there will be no Masses in Inishowen this weekend.

The situation will be kept under review.
